It's been a while
Well, I'm back after a bit with much to share. I've been steadily working on the content for my two-page spread, wrapping up the majority of the shooting for my images today. Among some photos of the main watch my headlining story will be on I also made sure to snap a few photos of some other accessories and watches for my "Strap of the Month" mini story and other things!
I shot with a Nikon D5100 with a 50mm f1.8 lens, typically stopped at f3.5-f4 for focus. I set up some shots around the house using some natural lighting as well as using an LED panel kit I got on Amazon for some more consistent lighting and shot away! After I was done I brought all my files into photoshop for some touch-ups and edits in the color and exposure departments mainly... And for the magazine itself, I've made some decisions on the cover since I last posted my work here; let's play some spot the difference!

Among changing fonts, colors, and such I also have a better example of my cover image and coverline; I think the coverline works great for the story I have to tell about this amazing timepiece, but the cover image I think is yet to be finalized.
Additionally, I'd like to share some of my shots from today, both before and after edits! First off is one that I'd love to see head my "Strap of the Month" story!

The original had some issues with exposure and I really wasn't getting the "pop" of the background that you could see in person and within the camera; I really love this splash of color especially with how it contrasts what could be called the slightly bland palette that is the rest of the project!
Well, until next time, I'm really enjoying this process and can't wait for the outcome!
